GENERAL SUMMARY
This position can be located at any manufacturing location, WHQ, or may be remote as reviewed and granted by exception. This role manages the production scheduling for the Snacks division to attain desired customer service and inventory goals, while balancing plant constraints and ensuring optimal inventory coverage of products at our manufacturing plants. This includes daily and weekly reporting of compliance with key performance metrics. This position works closely with both the Supply and Capacity planners, Deployment planners, Material planners, and Plant operations. This position is responsible for creating the finite production schedule for internal manufacturing plant lines to attain desired customer service and inventory goals while balancing plant constraints. It is also a critical executional role in driving the supply chain Demand Driven Supply Network strategy. The position will provide expertise for the production and inventory plans generated through the weekly processes. This position requires knowledge and experience managing a daily manufacturing production scheduling.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds short-term finite production schedule within Campbells scheduling system based on the rough-cut capacity plan to drive proper visibility to materials, schedule conflicts, labor scheduling, and finished good availability. This includes collaboration with Plant operations, Supply planning and Material planning to address short term exceptions, including customer service needs, material issues, equipment conflicts and resolving day to day problems that arise, resulting in impromptu schedule changes.
Drives Demand Driven Supply Network strategy by adhering to plan compliance and ensuring optimum sequencing within the weekly production schedule. Will also need to provide communication of the plan compliance feedback to the Capacity planners as well as analyze and improve compliance in scheduling execution. Maintain master data and scheduling board settings to perform optimal scheduling functions.
Responsible for analyzing and acting on daily exceptions for manufactured products by collaborations with Deployment planning team, Supply planning, Plant operations, Logistics and Quality personnel.
Coordinate and oversee scheduling production for new item launches, transitions (reformulations, packaging, component transitions) and promotional activities in conjunction with Supply Planning and Product Development. Also, provide supply chain support/participation on all plant/WHQ projects as needed.
Leads scheduling production meetings and supports any Daily Direction Setting meetings with Plant operations and Material planning and any other plant team meetings as pertain to scheduling.
COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE
Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and evaluate for impact on schedule. Should have the tenacity to provide a thorough situation analysis and strive for alternative recommendations and resolution.
Cover scheduling requirements for other plants as required in the absence of local scheduler.
The ability to communicate proactively and effectively to build healthy working relationships.
Ability to work independently to problem solve systems issues complex in nature.
Ability to manage to consensus across multiple stakeholders with competing objectives.
Ability to leverage scheduling system and processes to perform scheduling duties off-site and/or across multiple production locations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
BA/BS in Logistics, Operations Management, or Business preferred, or related field or equivalent experience in a similar role.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3+ years of production scheduling or equivalent supply chain experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
High level of expertise in SAP planning and scheduling tools including SAP APO and S4/HANA preferred.

Finite Scheduling (40%):

Scheduling Optimization (20%):

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$62,200-$89,500Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
