Production Planning
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply vs. demand for finished goods, ensuring feasible production, component, and capacity planning aligned with business priorities and strategic builds.
- Develop and maintain production plans that accurately reflect agreed priorities.
- Generate and distribute daily Shop Order Packets and production plan summaries to stakeholders.
- Maintain continuous communication with manufacturing, inventory, and customer-facing teams regarding product availability and execution status.
- Monitor and analyze Planned vs. Actual production performance, identifying root causes of deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic Master Production Schedule (MPS) reviews to ensure alignment with global manufacturing objectives.
- Support Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and minimize inventory obsolescence risks.
- Coordinate end-of-life (EOL) last-build execution.
- Monitor and control key operational metrics including WIP levels, On time delivery and capacity utilization.
- Execute special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.
Experience & Functional Scope
- Production Planning and Scheduling within manufacturing and distribution environments.
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS), RCCP, MRP, and demand planning execution.
- Capacity planning and factory load balancing.
- ERP-driven planning processes across supply chain operations.
- Cross-functional coordination with Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
- Production performance reporting and operational analytics.
- New product launch planning.
- Continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience operating in single and multi-plant manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Understanding of financial impact and operational trade-offs in planning decisions.
Required Profile & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or related roles.
- APICS certification (or in progress) preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA or enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle ERP.
- Experience with MRP/MPS systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, dashboards).
- Experience using Power BI for data visualization and performance tracking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Advanced English (written and spoken).
