RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Responsible for coordinating production planning and customer service activities to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and accurate execution of production programs in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
This position integrates production planning and direct customer support responsibilities, requiring strong ownership, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration.
Provides operational continuity and support in the absence of the MPS or Planning Manager.
Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and supports continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean Supply Chain principles.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Develop and maintain line production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity constraints. Analyze customer demand versus forecast and production capacity to ensure realistic and executable plans. Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers to ensure timely response to requests, delivery commitments, and order status updates. Monitor On-Time Delivery performance (CRD vs Promise Date vs Shipment Date) and drive corrective actions when required. Manage and reduce past due orders through recovery plans in coordination with Operations, Procurement, and cross-functional teams. Execute rescheduling decisions based on material constraints, purchased components, and capacity limitations. Support Engineering Change implementation (ECN/ECO), including impact analysis and excess/obsolete risk mitigation. Support NPI launches and ensure planning readiness for new product introductions and ramp-ups. Maintain SAP S/4HANA master data accuracy, including lead times, safety stock, planning parameters, and MRP settings. Utilize SAP S/4HANA planning, purchasing, and capacity modules to support supply execution. Monitor Subassembly and Finished Goods inventory levels versus Safety Stock targets and drive corrective actions when needed. Expedite critical orders and manage customer escalations. Perform root cause analysis for service or delivery failures and coordinate corrective actions with the Value Stream team. Participate in Lean Supply Chain initiatives, including Kanban optimization and material flow improvements. Generate production and service performance reports using advanced Excel tools and structured data analysis. Utilize Power BI tools to structure data tables and support performance visibility (preferred). Self-manage daily priorities based on business impact, service levels, and operational needs. Provide operational support and decision continuity in the absence of the MPS or Planning Manager. Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, CSR, Product Management, Procurement, and Operations teams. Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
