Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team in Edgewood, New York!

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Basic Purpose: Production Coordinators are responsible for overseeing and managing the daily workflow, scheduling employee shifts, and ensuring the timely processing of the mail. They will work closely with the production planning team, floor leaders, and operators to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation of machines in the assigned commingling area, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement daily production plans in collaboration with the production planning team. Schedule and assign tasks to Commingling operators, ensuring adequate staffing levels for smooth operations. Monitor machine performance and address any issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that comingled mail meets required standards. Collaborate with vendors (USPS, PSI, SW, CMS) to ensure the accurate presentation of mail. Maintain the accuracy of all reconciliation reports to ensure the integrity of financial records. Foster a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. Train and develop Commingling operators, providing guidance and support as needed. Communicate effectively with technicians and supervisors regarding machine issues and repairs. Create and monitor daily production plans, ensuring proper labor allocation and cost-per-unit targets are met. Cross-train team members on material handling and ensure accuracy in material matching and tracking. Perform any other duties assigned by the Commingling Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a machine operations role within a production environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Basic mathematical and organizational skills desired.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and work throughout the duration of assigned shifts.
  • Flexibility in work schedule based on production volumes, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies.
  • Requires standing for long periods of time, stooping and kneeling, and lifting up to 20 pounds to waist level.

Shift:   Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, On-site

Hourly Rate: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience
