JOB PURPOSE

To support with high quality timely reporting and systematic analysis of Financials and ensure overall cost-effective performance. Controlling two Production units independently and responsible for Cost Audit and Certification requirement. Ensure that internal control are designed, implemented and monitored to ensure Statutory financial compliances in order to reduce financial risks. Ensure project output is executed and managed to a high standard and in line with the Sandvik Internal Control policy and procedures along with various financial analysis. Project Management and Awareness of Indirect Tax Compliances

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out Monthly Book Closing in SAP and generate and publish Product area wise MIS reports and submission of results in global tool.
  • Carry out reviews with the Production unit director around expenses and other KPIs.
  • Analyze the Financial Performance, suggest and drive corrective actions along with relevant stakeholders. Provide analysis and recommendations to enhance the financial efficiency
  • Prepare short and long-term financial plan based on the strategic business objectives (opex and investments) and report in global tool
  • Coordinate with Country finance for issues related supplier payments and bookings.
  • Support in operational Finance (reconciliation of GIT, ICM, clearing accounts, GRIR etc.)
  • For special projects on site – Carry out analysis and reporting of the expenses/investments to relevant global stakeholders
  • Support Production units with all internal control requirements by advising on best practice and control requirements while ensuring that correct procedures and protocols are being followed
  • Act as the main support in performing continual assessment of the operating effectiveness of the controls, as well as supporting local management with any changes that need to be made to the control environment
  • Provide guidance to Production teams in the design of new processes to ensure efficient and effective controls are built into their processes as the need arise
  • Coordinating for periodic Internal Audit and ensuring appropriate and timely closure and follow of Internal Audit observation 
  • Awareness of Indirect tax compliances and driving improvements to minimise risks towards tax penalties and respective monetary loss
  • Driving Process Improvements, adapting smart ways of working by identifying possibilities of automations, IT system integration and further development to improve business efficiency. Support in new system implementations.
  • Support & ensuring all statutory compliances related to Internal/ statutory audits /cost audits
  • Participate in the fixed asset and inventory verification processes.
  • Carry out activities related to Standard Cost Roll up (annual) and variance analysis.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Professional Knowledge of Internal Finance Controls & handling Internal Audits
  • Working knowledge of EOU, GST related Processes
  • Driving Internal Audit improvement to strengthen internal controls
  • Systematic and analytical, Problem-solving approach
  • Business understanding and integration with Finance
  • Good Communicator - includes written and spoken
  • Operating knowledge on SAP, other applications
  • Proactive approach, willingness to walk extra mile and stretch him/herself
  • Drives continuous improvement to have best results
  • IT literate – MS Office application and user knowledge of Power BI
  • Managing and handling multiple tasks

EXPERIENCE

Experience in Internal Audit and Financial control in a manufacturing organization is preferred.

EDUCATION

Should be a freshly qualified CA, ACCA or equivalent, ICWA/CMA, MBA (Finance) with 2-3 years of experience or CA inter with 4-5 years of experience.
