The Role and What You’ll Do:
Art + Commerce is seeking a Production Assistant or Junior Producer to join our Hair & Makeup Division. This role reports to and supports the division agents in managing the careers of top artists. Candidate must be detail-oriented and a proactive professional with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong understanding of the production and luxury fashion landscape. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is passionate about fashion, art, photography, hair, makeup, and styling.
Providing general support and daily communication to artists.
Preparing estimates, manage budgets and update options.
Updating artist calendars and coordinate all travel for artists and assistants.
Managing and updating artist online portfolios.
Accounting management, billing and wrapping jobs, manage artist shoot budgets in a timely manner.
Managing multiple artists and assistant schedules during show season.
On-site fashion shows production support globally.
You Have These:
Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated passion for photography, art, fashion, and publishing.
2–4 years of relevant professional experience in production, artist management, or a related field.
Proven experience liaising with artists, producers, and clients in a professional capacity.
Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Professional demeanor and discretion when working with high-profile clients and artists.
Familiarity with key industry professionals, including photographers, stylists, set designers, and hair & makeup artists.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and calendar management tools.
Comfortable working flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to support artists during fashion events.
Required in-office presence four days per week, with seasonal travel as necessary.
French and additional language is helpful but not required.
