The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a First-Line Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to support the 777X Quality Program Operations Team onsite in Everett, WA. This role will lead quality assurance activities across for Tooling Quality and Quality Planning teams. This position is available for 2nd shift.

Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of quality personnel onsite in Everett.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
3+ years of experience leading teams or projects formally or informally
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
2+ years of management experience with responsibility for direct reports
5+ years’ experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS
Experience working with tooling operations
Experience working in planning
Experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
Experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving
