We are looking for Product Sales Manager, HPLC to lead India’s team of HPLC Product Specialists and Field Application Scientists to strengthen Agilent’s technical leadership, support commercial growth, and drive workflow-based customer success.
About the role:
This role is responsible in driving India market share growth for Agilent’s Liquid Chromatography and Dissolution portfolio, including InfinityLab LC Series, across key customer segments such as pharma, biopharma, food, environmental testing, chemicals, and research institutes.
This role drives key business and product initiatives to gain market share, including funnel and pipeline development, competitive conversions, while ensuring strong alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver annual business goals across India. Identify and act on the opportunities and challenges to continue supporting business growth
Lead, coach, develop and hire a high-performing team of HPLC Product Specialists and Field Application Scientists.
Establishes metric/KPI for the team and develops innovative ways to improve process/strategies and increase scalability & efficiency.
Lead India’s HPLC product strategy program. Support key India customer programs in Pharma, Biopharma and Applied Markets segments
Support high-value customer engagements, including key opinion leader (KOL) engagements. Build strategic conversion plans with Sales and Marketing for high-impact accounts.
Consolidate customer needs & market intelligence on the product line and related markets in collaboration with Product Specialists, Field Application Scientists and Marketing.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Service, and Product Development teams to ensure aligned execution of campaigns and new product launches.
Lead technical enablement during sales training and competency development. Support sales competency initiatives.
Ensure operational discipline by following relevant sales and application process. Provide monthly reports to regional leadership, highlighting market trends, competitive intelligence, and business opportunities.
Be the face of Agilent by ensuring global policies and standard processes are adopted and followed. Build customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Must be willing to travel within India. (Up to 50% of the time).
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or related discipline.
10+ years of business and technical experience in HPLC technologies, including customer‑facing, or product marketing roles.
Experience managing technical/application teams is highly desirable.
Deep knowledge of HPLC and dissolution fundamentals, and regulatory pharma/biopharma requirements.
Strong understanding of CDS platforms (OpenLab, Empower, Chromeleon), and data integrity requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to translate technical strengths into business outcomes.
Strategic mindset with high ownership and problem‑solving skills.
