The Opportunity: Sales Operations Business Partner

Location: Poland

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and strategic Senior Sales Operations Business Partner to join our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales team.


In this role, you will be responsible for providing the strategic insight, structural framework, and performance measurements necessary to execute sales strategies and drive sustainable revenue growth.


You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales Vice Presidents, collaborating closely with cross-functional support teams to develop long-term initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Insight and Planning: Serve as a trusted business partner to Senior Leadership, analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations, and facilitating the annual planning and quota allocation process for the region in accordance with the policies and tools established by the Global Commercial organization.

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Drive the segment/regions's success by utilizing centralized Sales Operations resources to deliver required reporting, analytics, and business intelligence, supporting all strategic and tactical initiatives for the assigned segment/region.

  • Territory & Coverage Optimization: Lead and support broader Sales Operations projects and initiatives focused on optimizing sales territory alignment, coverage models, and maintaining the sales hierarchy/rosters to maximize market potential and drive efficiency.

  • Performance Management & Business Review: Drive sales strategy execution by conducting regular business reviews with Sales leadership, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyzing attainment trends, and managing sales compensation inquiries.

  • System Utilization & Compliance: Support the effective use of sales systems (e.g. Salesforce.com, Oracle BI) to measure and improve sales force productivity and compliance. Assume joint responsibility with segment/regional sales management for meeting defined process standards and SLAs.

  • Operational Excellence: Maintain the accuracy of critical sales data (bookings, pipeline, forecast), enforce compliance, and equip the sales force with tools and training to improve forecast accuracy, facilitate consistent business inspection, and ensure precise measurement.

  • Project Leadership & Communication: Lead and support broader Sales Operations initiatives and projects for assigned segments/regions, and attend regular segment/regional sales management meetings to provide updates.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Sales Operations with direct exposure to sales management teams.

  • Prior experience working with large data sets to derive business insights is preferred.

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the proven ability to synthesize complex data and financial modeling into clear, executive-ready presentations and recommendations that drive strategic business decisions.

  • Sales Operations competence (forecasting, planning, sales systems, reporting, processes and methodologies, compensation and quota management).

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL databases, etc.), coupled with experience using core Sales and BI systems (e.g., Salesforce.com, SAP/Oracle) and a general understanding of relevant domain processes.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities, and complete assignments under aggressive time constraints.

  • Program/project management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision and have no concerns with being managed remotely. Must be results oriented, adept at delivering results amid ambiguity, and able to move forward without complete information.
