Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join a structured Rotational Program focused on Product Management at Axos. This full-time, early career program is designed to build strong product, technical, and analytical foundations through hands-on experience across multiple product teams while supporting real, customer-facing solutions.

Participants in this program will complete three distinct product rotations across Axos products: Consumer, Commercial and Securities.

Each rotation provides exposure to different customer segments, regulatory environments, and technology platforms. Throughout the program, analysts will develop core product management and technical analysis skills while partnering closely with product owners, engineers, QA, and business stakeholders. The ultimate goal of the program is permanent placement within a product team aligned to the analyst’s demonstrated strengths and business needs.

Through the program, participants will build capabilities in:
• Product Owner fundamentals
• Technical and business requirements analysis
• Customer journey mapping
• Data driven decision making
• Cross functional product delivery

This position is part of Axos’ Business & Technology Analyst Program and is fully on-site at our HQ in San Diego, CA.

Job Description

Across rotations, responsibilities may include:

  • Review business needs and translate requirements into clear documentation for Engineering and QA teams
  • Document user journeys, system interactions, and data flows using diagrams and written specifications
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to identify opportunities to phase functionality across releases
  • Analyze feature usage, defects, and performance metrics to identify product and process improvement opportunities
  • Support ongoing product maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot and manage incoming support or product-related inquiries, crafting clear responses for technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Create release notes and supporting documentation to communicate upcoming functionality
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint ceremonies, and product planning sessions
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve product quality, delivery processes, and customer experience
  • Document repeatable processes and workflows to support operational efficiency
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other Axos teams as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interest in product management, technology, and financial services
  • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and communicate them clearly
  • Solid problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including explaining concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Comfortable working in cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to quickly ramp up in new domains
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
