The Position

The Inter-Company Supply Chain (ICSC) Agile Release Train is the engine behind our global logistics and financial flow efficiency. Our department focuses on modernizing supply chain workflows and ensuring seamless integration across various business units. By joining this team, you will contribute to a high-impact environment where precision, scalability, and innovation drive the way we deliver value to our global customers.

The Product Owner (PO) is the primary team-level catalyst for value delivery within the ICSC Agile Release Train. In this role, you will serve as the "Voice of the Customer" for your specific agile team, translating high-level roadmaps into actionable, high-quality user stories. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our supply chain solutions are built with precision and efficiency.

The Opportunity

As a Product Owner, you will have the chance to shape the future of our supply chain systems through the following key responsibilities:

  • Backlog Management: Own, maintain, and prioritize the Team Backlog, ensuring it is transparent, visible, and understood by the entire development team.

  • Story Authoring & Planning: Deconstruct complex ICSC Features into granular User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria and lead Iteration Planning to ensure stories meet the "Definition of Ready."

  • PM & Stakeholder Alignment: Work in lockstep with Product Managers on the ART Vision and act as the primary contact for supply chain coordinators to validate operational needs.

  • Quality Assurance: Serve as the sole authority for accepting stories as "Done," verifying they meet the Definition of Done and provide intended business value.

  • Collaboration: Actively participate in PO Syncs to coordinate dependencies and lead team-level System Demos to showcase incremental progress.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive relentless improvement in supply chain delivery by participating in Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops and team retrospectives.

  • Domain Expertise: Provide technical-functional guidance for SAP SD/MM configurations and identify bottlenecks to propose automated, leaner process alternatives.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of technical SAP expertise and agile leadership skills:

  • Professional Experience: 2–4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant within a Supply Chain or SAP environment.

  • Agile Expertise: An active SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is mandatory.

  • SAP Proficiency: Strong hands-on understanding of SAP S/4HANA, specifically modules related to Inter-company transfers, SD, and MM.

  • Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex supply chain business logic into technical requirements and maintain data integrity and global compliance.

  • Decisive Leadership: Empowered to make real-time decisions during iterations to maintain team velocity while staying aligned with the broader strategy.
