The Fidelity Managed Accounts team will provide discretionary investment management services to Fidelity Private Wealth, Fidelity Wealth and other emerging channels.

Reporting to the Director, Product Operations, the Product Operations Manager, Managed Accounts is the product operations lead for the implementation of new funds and solutions, fund changes and enhancements, and fund mergers and terminations. The Product Operations Manager Managed Accounts will work closely with all stakeholders in Canada, U.S. and global sites, including legal, finance, operations, fund accounting, and portfolio management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Product Lead for the implementation of new funds, solutions & services

  • Responsible for the product brief, a central reference guide used to provide product information to our partners at FIC, FMR, FIL, FFIO, FIAM

  • Responsible for developing the operational structure of new products, considering feedback from FIC Operations, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Managers and other key stakeholders

  • Working with the Project Manager and Legal, develop project plan that identifies all deliverables, timing, ownership and risks

  • Coordinate working committee with Project Manager, including the identification of key stakeholders, feedback on agenda & updates, and problem resolution for product-related issues

  • Coordinate seed capital request documentation if required

  • Key liaison with U.S. operational stakeholders-Responsible as the Product Lead for Fund Restructuring and Enhancements

-Assist with various Portfolio Manager Functions as it relates to operations for New Fundings, Fund Restructuring, Enhancements, Mergers and Terminations

  • Product Operations Lead for the implementation of SMA changes including initial fundings, restructures, rebalancing, benchmark changes, mergers, terminations and Portfolio Manager changes

  • Key liaison with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Services Group, regarding the implementation plan, including their input, approval, and ongoing communication leading up to the event

  • Working with the Product Implementation Manager, the Project Manager and Legal, provide key inputs to develop the project plan including deliverables, timing, ownership and risks

  • Coordinate working committee with Project Manager, including the identification of key stakeholders, feedback on agenda & updates, and problem resolution for product-related issues

  • Product lead with external vendors, such as Broadridge

  • Assist in the coordination any events, such as a Unitholder Meeting & Vote, and arrange for subject matter experts to help support events (corporate affairs, events, legal, etc.)

- Team Coverage and Mentorship

  • When required the Product Operations Manager Separately Managed Accounts will cover any team member absenteeism and assist with ensuring all of the deliverables for any product launches or restructuring/mergers are have been met and all deadlines for the events are met.

  • Act in a leadership role and mentor the other members of the team

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of a University degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years mutual fund/investment industry experience (including a minimum of 2 years with a focus on mutual fund operations or product development)

  • Ability to build strong relationships and work with Fidelity groups around the global

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt quickly and easily to a changing work environment

For this role, your total rewards include:

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $109,000 to $158,000 based on your experience and qualifications.

  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
