The Product Marketing Specialist is a full-time role that will combine strong investment knowledge, marketing experience, a client perspective, and a commercial lens to partner with client group, product management and portfolio management. The role will be based in either London, Frankfurt or Zurich, and will work with an existing Product Marketing Specialist to effectively position and communicate our investment capabilities, approaches and funds externally and internally, across both traditional and digital marketing channels. As part of the EMEA Product Marketing team, this individual will also partner closely with our Americas and APAC Product Marketing teams on cross-regional initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating a best-in-class product toolkit for priority funds and products in German language, including alignment to integrated campaigns with a focus on engaging storytelling, partnering with product management and investors for investment messaging, and client-facing teams for commercial context
Partner with channel marketing to identify new opportunities for different formats and/or new content for priority products, contributing to the annual agenda for product material templates
Coordinating with key stakeholders globally to deliver this content; marketing, distribution, investment, product management, product development, marketing compliance, fund reporting, design
Incorporate practices such as competitive intelligence, target audience definition, and market positioning into the development of product marketing materials
Creation and maintenance of non-automated fund specific collateral and content delivered via ‘owned’ digital platforms (web, video, emails) in partnership with channel marketing and product management
Specific qualifications include:
Native German-speaker essential
5+ years of product marketing, product management or channel marketing experience
Preference for experience within the intermediary / wholesale / third-party wealth channel
Good technical product and investment knowledge
Ability to tell compelling fund ‘stories’ through content that will engage a variety of audiences
Ability to create new content and provide strategic marketing input to existing
Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written
Strong collaborator, sole contributor and ability to influence others for results
Strong project management skills
Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and quickly build relationships
Global mindset; experience in working across borders (particularly in continental Europe and with colleagues in the U.S. and Asia), time zones and cultures
Grace under pressure; comfortable with ambiguity, ability to adapt, “roll up sleeves” and get things done
Sense of humour and passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment
