The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving go-to-market strategy, positioning, and demand generation for the company’s solar offerings across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments. This role bridges Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure clear value communication, strong market differentiation, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate combines commercial thinking with strong storytelling capabilities and market execution discipline.
Key Accountabilities
Product Development & Launch
Work closely with Product, Operations, Legal, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support the development and enhancement of solar product offerings.
Translate market insights and customer needs into product positioning, packaging, and commercial propositions.
Coordinate product testing, pilot programs, and internal readiness prior to market launch.
Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
Go-To-Market Strategy
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for solar solutions targeting Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers.
Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly communicate customer benefits such as cost savings, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
Ensure consistent product messaging across all sales channels, marketing materials, and partner engagements.
Customer Experience
Work with Customer Success, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey from product awareness to onboarding and post-installation experience.
Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and product adoption.
Gather customer feedback and insights to support continuous improvement of product offerings and services.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify differentiation opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the solar market.
Provide insights to support product strategy, pricing, and packaging.
Sales Enablement
Equip sales teams with relevant tools including pitch decks, product guides, financial models, and objection-handling materials.
Develop case studies and reference projects to strengthen commercial discussions.
Support key sales engagements with strong product narratives and commercial value propositions.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Product, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure smooth product development and market execution.
Align stakeholders on product strategy, timelines, and launch readiness.
Act as a key coordination point to ensure product initiatives are delivered effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of solid experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or commercial roles.
Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
Ability to translate technical solutions into compelling customer value propositions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
