Product Marketing Manager Automotive Ethernet (f/m/d)

The Automotive Ethernet Segment (AES) is part of the Product Line (PL) In-Vehicle Networking (IVN) and is one of the fastest growing product segments within NXP. We are seeking a junior marketing manager to develop the product strategy and drive revenue growth for our Automotive Ethernet PHY product portfolio. She/He will own the business cases supporting new product introductions per the roadmap, as well as drive Go-to-Market strategies and design-wins associated with the current portfolio.  Supporting day to day operations as well as strategic initiatives requiring strong collaboration and stakeholder alignment across the organization is another crucial part of this job.

Your team

The product marketing team within the Automotive Ethernet Solutions group is managing all aspects of the product portfolio, and offers product expertise and marketing support to the worldwide sales and field application teams. The members of the team interact with customers worldwide to understand Ethernet networking requirements derived from current and future E/E architectures and to explain the benefits of NXPs system solutions. Together with our Applications and Systems Engineering team we’re forming the Voice of the customer towards our R&D organization. Our team is recognized within the automotive market as networking experts and belongs to the cross-industry community that innovates and introduces novelties in in-vehicle networking.

The preferred location of this vacancy is Munich, Germany.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and drive product roadmaps that result in a competitive and differentiated product portfolio
  • Be the “ear in the market” and the “voice-of-the-customer” for the R&D organization
  • Maintain an up-to-date view on competition, market size (TAM/SAM), and follow key industry trends
  • Define and execute successful, impactful go-to-market strategies & campaigns
  • Trigger business development initiatives with both OEM and TIER1 customers, resulting in future design-wins
  • Establish and manage your key stakeholder network, reaching customers, NXP sales and also towards the own organization
  • Manage all aspects of the existing and future product portfolio

Required and desired skills and experience

  • MSc. in Electrical Engineering (or similar), ideally complemented with a MBA degree
  • First few years of experience in marketing of semiconductor products, ideally gained in marketing (Automotive) Ethernet PHY products, or similar high speed data communication products (LVDS, SerDes, …)
  • Ideally some technical background in Automotive electronics & Networking technologies
  • Willing to travel to customers and NXP locations worldwide
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, cross-cultural mind-set
  • Independent working style, fast learner, creative and open for new ideas
  • Balances strategic vision with strong execution, can get things done
  • Fluent in English
