PRODUCT MANAGER SAFETY
As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the commercial development of a designated product area managing a range of safety products and suppliers to achieve Company goals. You will be responsible of achieving the sales and margin company goals and developing ranges and suppliers in coordination with Category Manager.
MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES:
Responsibility of Personal Protection Equipment Section for Intersafe catalogue;
Analyze consumer needs, current market trends;
Define the tactics on your product range in line with Company goals, category manager inputs and taking into account the Group decisions;
Participate to Group product selection process and support/challenge Group decisions;
Analyze results (sales, margin, evolution, promotions…) of your product range;
Negotiate with suppliers the buying conditions;
Conduct supplier business review meetings;
Produce the catalogues lay-out as well as determine lay-out and follow-up of promotional programs (on line & below the line) in cooperation with communication & digital team for assigned safety products;
Cooperate with pricing manager to define price setting in order to reach turnover and margin goals, taking into account competition analysis for assigned safety products;
Study your market share, market evolution & trends and undertake product level analysis of your range of product (and your competition);
Coordinate possible local & group projects which are appointed by Safety Category Manager;
Cooperate with other departments to manage internal process (e.g. Demand & Supply, Finance, Legal, etc.);
Cooperate with PPE specialists to obtain customer feedback concerning about managed products proposition;
Sales meetings to tackle competition, presentations for sales, trainings, sales days, yearly convention etc.;
Support Quote & Tenders department for particular tenders.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Fluent in Italian and English;
Experience in Marketing or in Sales Area is an asset;
Deep Knowledge of Safety Market and related legislation is a must
Good negotiating skills;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure;
Available to travel;
PC literate (Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint,SAP).
