The role

  • Define and own MES/Digital Manufacturing product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with enterprise transformation goals.
  • Conduct market and competitive research on MES, Industry 4.0, IIoT, AI/ML, and smart manufacturing trends.
  • Prioritize product features based on business impact and technical feasibility; manage product backlog and release planning.
  • Lead end-to-end transformation programs—including planning, roadmap definition, system design, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Manage complex, multi-site digital initiatives such as MES rollouts, asset master data initiatives, IIoT/ML implementations, and AMS support.
  • Execute Lean/Operational Excellence initiatives through process mapping, continuous improvement, and performance system design.
  • Oversee full program lifecycle from feasibility through deployment and sustainment, ensuring achievement of KPIs, ROI, and cost targets.
  • Facilitate workshops, align cross-functional teams, and maintain strategic direction with global stakeholders.
  • Partner with technology vendors, system integrators, and service providers to ensure successful delivery and steady-state support.
  • Manage communication with senior leadership and drive decision-making via structured governance forums.

What you’ll bring

  • 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing IT/digital transformation, with 5+ years in MES product or program management.
  • Strong understanding of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, AspenTech, AVEVA, DELMIA).
  • Familiarity with SAP PM/ERP, historian systems, SCADA, IIoT connectivity, AI/ML-driven analytics.
  • Expertise in Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, TOC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering business outcomes.
  • Ability to influence teams across functions and geographies.
  • Certification: Product Management, Agile (CSPO, SAFe), or PMP.
