Senior Product Manager – Health Data/HCP Data

Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager, Health Data is responsible for leveraging IQVIA health data to support IQVIA Digital products, partners, and clients. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for health data within IQVIA Digital, including HCP, claims, and patient‑focused data offerings. The position also supports client success activities to ensure data‑driven products deliver measurable value.

Reporting to the Director, Health Data, this role partners closely with a Product Owner to ensure alignment across product strategy, delivery, sales, and marketing teams, enabling a cohesive product experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Health Data Leadership & Enablement

  • Act as the subject matter expert and internal product ambassador for the use of IQVIA Core and Patient data across IQVIA Digital.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and deliver training to go‑to‑market (GTM) teams and partner product teams, including product demos, presentations, and enterprise‑level value propositions.
  • Establish and maintain feedback loops with internal teams, clients, and partners to continuously enhance product offerings based on customer insights and market needs.
  • Identify gaps in health data coverage and evaluate external data partners to address unmet needs.
  • Partner closely with the IQVIA Information business to enhance data capabilities across IQVIA and IQVIA Digital.
  • Provide technical expertise to support health data business requirements and solution design.
  • Educate internal stakeholders and select external partners on health data capabilities and usage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned under the guidance of the Director, Health Data.

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Support the development and execution of the Health Data product strategy and roadmap.
  • Translate product vision into prioritized roadmap initiatives, including ownership and ongoing management of the IQVIA Digital Health Data roadmap.
  • Define, prioritize, and document product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and return on investment.
  • Translate requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories with clear prioritization.
  • Evaluate internal datasets for quality, consistency, completeness, accuracy, and overall readiness for use within IQVIA Digital products.
  • Enable the use of health data across internal and external initiatives through cross‑product collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners to gather insights and guide product direction.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision‑making.

Product Operations

  • Support end‑to‑end processes for ingesting, validating, storing, protecting, and processing health data to ensure accessibility, reliability, and timeliness.
  • Develop and optimize processes for onboarding and integrating external data sources, from initial planning through post‑integration audits.
  • Standardize external data delivery processes, including file layouts, naming conventions, receipt confirmations, and error notifications, leveraging automation where possible.
  • Support ad hoc data specifications for new datasets and use cases.
  • Develop and support internal and external communications related to health data products.
  • Address internal and external health data issues, inquiries, and escalations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the product team and broader organization.
  • Provide support to other Product Owners and Product Managers as needed.

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Stay informed of changes in U.S. federal and state regulations impacting the use of HCP, patient, and claims data.
  • Partner with IQVIA stakeholders to ensure products remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Support the adaptation of products and processes to address new or emerging data usage restrictions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including Product Manager and/or Product Owner responsibilities in an Agile environment.
  • Strong experience working with data‑driven products, data integrations, or data platforms.
  • Experience with IQVIA data assets (e.g., XPO, LAAD/ELAAD, NPA, PharMetrics Plus) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate industry and market trends into actionable product requirements.
  • Understanding of HCP and direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) marketing concepts, or willingness to develop this expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
