Primary Purpose 

The Product Manager is a dynamic, high-energy Product Manager with a sound business acumen and passion for building great software. This role interacts regularly with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Operations and requires the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively. 

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities 

  • Partner with business stakeholders to document and analyze current service workflows and identify opportunities for creating efficiencies. 
  • Define concierge workflows and supporting case‑management processes, including care‑plan creation and sharing, routing and escalation logic, SLAs, automation, reporting, and integration with adjacent applications. 
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements to create in support of product roadmap. Translate market requirements into functional specifications (user stories). 
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions.  
  • Define and prioritize a product backlog. 
  • Manage lifecycle of the product from market requirements to product release, implementation, adoption, and iteration. 
  • Communicate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, implementation teams and leadership to ensure business and customer goals are met. 
  • Utilize data to understand customer needs and behaviors as well as business objectives and enable the team to transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features. 
  • Define and track operational metrics impact. 
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis. 

  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience working in a Product role
    • In lieu of Product specific experience, 3 years working within a software delivery organization in an Engineering, Support, Business/Systems Analyst or UX design role, may be considered - Required 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SaaS-based solutions preferred 
  • Experience working on workflow -driven systems (e.g., CRM, case management, ticketing, service platforms, or operational tools) 
  • Managed healthcare, benefits, and/or outsourcing service experience a plus 
  • Experience with software project management tools, preferably Azure Dev Ops ADO 
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and an understanding of how to develop functional requirements and user stories. 
  • History of proven results delivering high quality, customer-driven products on time 
  • Exposure to contact center, concierge-like service operations, or customer support environments preferred. 
  • Goal-oriented, must be able to demonstrate success - meeting and exceeding business objectives. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to use data to spot and address risks and opportunities. 
  • Self-starter with ability to drive decisions and lead projects from start to finish 
  • Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and time management skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships across all organizational levels, i.e. peers, vendors, clients 
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000-$135,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
