NVIDIA

Product Management Intern, Highway Driving and Active Safety - Summer 2026

US, CA, Santa Clara Full time

NVIDIA is building the future of AI-powered transportation. Our team delivers highway driving and active safety capabilities that are deployed globally—primarily in partnership with Mercedes-Benz—spanning both new feature development and ongoing improvements to features already in customer hands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of product, engineering, safety, and customer needs, and who is comfortable balancing roadmap execution with real-world issue management from deployed systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Support product definition and roadmap execution for highway driving and active safety features across global markets

  • Analyze and prioritize incoming product issues from deployed fleets, tests, and customer reports; drive structured root cause triage and follow-through

  • Help plan and drive feature releases/rollouts, including evaluating KPIs

  • Create clear product artifacts (PRDs, release notes, dashboards) and present status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders/leadership

  • Conduct targeted user/driver experience and on-road behavior analyses to inform product decisions and tradeoffs

What we need to see:

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or MS (Business, CS/CE, Data Science, or related), with an internship timeframe aligned to the role

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to form hypotheses, quantify impact, and recommend actions (Python/SQL a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills—able to align diverse stakeholders and translate between technical details and product outcomes

  • Familiarity with ADAS/AV concepts and the realities of shipping and maintaining safety-related features

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Deep knowledge of L2/L2+ or L3 highway driving and active safety systems (e.g., AEB, ACC, LKA, highway assist)

  • Experience supporting deployed products: issue triage, regression management, release gating, and post-launch quality loops

  • Exposure to global rollout constraints (regional requirements, localization, validation strategy, customer acceptance)

  • Strong intuition for categorizing product-level issues into actionable buckets (data, perception, planning/control, HMI, vehicle integration, etc.)

  • Prior experience working in—or closely with—a Product Management team on complex technical products

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 20 USD - 71 USD.

You will also be eligible for Intern benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until March 20, 2026.
