Product Line Specialist
As our Product Line Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert for the assigned actuator product lines. You will support product lifecycle management, ongoing maintenance and enhancements to the assigned product lines by providing exceptional product knowledge to internal teams, customers, and partners. You will drive product line success by bridging engineering, sales, marketing, and customer’s needs to meet strategic growth and financial objectives. You must be able to operate across industries and org charts with desired experience in a wide range of markets including and not limited to industrial automation, automotive, food and beverage, and defense.
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Salary: $70,000 to $85,000

Your Challenge
Act as technical expert on the assigned actuator product line (electric actuators).
Provide pre-sale and post-sale support to application engineering and sales, including sizing/selection, application engineering, and custom configuration recommendations as needed.
Collaborate with engineering and sales to identify product gaps, gather voice-of-the-customer feedback, and support the development or enhancement of new and existing products.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in industrial automation and motion control.
Assist in creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including datasheets, technical notes, competitive datasheets, installation manuals, and training materials.
Develop and deliver internal and external product training for sales teams, application engineers, and customer on product features, sizing & selection, maintenance, and installation.
Assist with analyzing product performance data, warranty claims, and customer returns to drive continuous improvement and product enhancements.
Work cross-functionally with marketing communications, sales, and operations to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and product lifecycle management.
Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and other industry events to build relationships, gather insights, and promote actuator product lines.
Contribute to sales forecasting and business planning for the product line by providing technical and market intelligence.
Be a customer advocate driving business performance to meet growing customer demands.
Execute product strategies to meet the overall strategic and financial objectives of the business unit.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2 - 4 years of relevant technical product experience.
Ideal motion control or linear products experience is an asset.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Must be a U.S. person.
