The team
The Product Lead Investment Engine reports hierarchically to the Global Proposition Owner – Platform and is based in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of ING’s global investment strategy. You’ll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, helping shape the future of investment services and enabling leadership to deliver on strategic ambitions.
Roles and responsibilities
- Drive the rollout of the OneInvestments Platform by addressing complex strategic challenges, balancing global product standards with local market dynamics and customer needs.
- Demonstrate expertise in investments back-office procedures and automation, sourcing, Blackbelt, and value chain cost optimization, with a proven track record in delivering new features and transformations across multi-country programs.
- Design scalable, modular digital products that minimize country-specific customization.
- Lead a cross-functional team of tech and business professionals driving the strategy for the Investments Back-End Engine, and own and improve procedures related to the engine across all propositions.
- Support country teams in integrating the Investments Engine into their local environments, identifying and driving synergies in Investments Operations across markets.
- Transform and enhance investment procedures while maintaining platform reliability and compliance, ensuring seamless integration of front-end innovations with varied backend systems.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT) and product performance, contributing directly to the success of investment propositions.
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments and apply them in a customer-centric way, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
- Collaborate across global and local teams to align strategy, execution, and priorities.
How to succeed
About you:
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Multiple years of experience in investments or broader financial services.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, digitalization, backlog management, and resource planning.
- Ability to simplify and clearly explain complex issues.
- Excellent command of English (Dutch is a strong plus).
