As a Product Design Lead, you will shape the vision and direction of our digital health experiences. You’ll guide design direction and strategy through a deep
understanding of user needs, lead designers through ambiguity, and elevate the craft and cohesion of our products across the Libre ecosystem.
This role combines vision-setting, hands-on design, and team leadership. You’ll
steward the design of new product areas, continually improve our product
experience, mentor designers, influence cross-functional partners, and ensure our experiences meet the highest bar of quality, clarity, and humanity.
This role is remote, with regular travel to Alameda, CA for team collaboration,
workshops, and leadership alignment.
What you’ll do:
• Set product vision and strategy. Define the design direction for key product
areas, influence roadmaps, and ensure experiences align with user needs and
business goals.
• Lead end-to-end product design. Guide teams from early concept exploration
through polished delivery, creating prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and
narratives that clarify direction and drive alignment.
• Elevate craft and systems. Uphold a high bar for quality, strengthen cohesion
across surfaces, and support the evolution of our design system to create
consistent experiences across the ecosystem.
• Mentor and manage designers. Develop team members through coaching,
feedback, and structured growth, fostering a culture of excellence, exploration,
and thoughtful problem-solving.
• Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner closely with research, product,
engineering, and marketing, translating insights into clear, actionable solutions
for our users.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including experience developing
designers and leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven track record designing and shipping holistic, end-to-end consumer
product experiences that achieve meaningful business and user outcomes.
• Experience guiding products from 0 to 1, defining north-star experiences, and
iterating toward product-market fit.
• A refined design sensibility shaped by curiosity, critical thinking, and strong
taste, paired with the ability to articulate why things work.
• Strong systems-thinking
• Mastery in usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision,
rationale, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
• Portfolio demonstrating recent, high-impact consumer product work with clear
articulation of your role, thinking, and outcomes.
• Deep proficiency in Figma, with the ability to iterate quickly and explore
widely.
• Passion for evolving your craft, whether through emerging technologies, new
tools, or new ways of working.

The base pay for this position is
$127,300.00 – $254,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
