Reporting to the IT Director for Latin America, the Product Delivery Manager plays a strategic and integrative role within Clarios’ product-based IT operating model.
This role ensures the effective delivery, adoption, and value realization of Manufacturing & Supply Chain digital products by orchestrating collaboration across digital product teams, aligning regional business needs with global product roadmaps, and driving continuous improvement across platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, o9 Planning Suite, IBM Maximo, and modern MES technologies.
The Product Delivery Manager bridges strategy and execution—working from IT outward to bring the right experts into business-led product teams, rather than channeling business demands inward.
Scope & Responsibilities:
Strategic Orchestration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the regional orchestrator between business stakeholders and IT product teams, ensuring that the right IT experts (architecture, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure) actively participate in digital product teams
- Represent LATAM in global product planning forums, influencing priorities based on business impact, readiness, and strategic alignment.
- Strengthen the partnership between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Digital Product teams to accelerate business outcomes and innovation.
Product Delivery & Value Realization
- Balance run, grow, and transform initiatives to sustain operational excellence while enabling digital innovation.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for Manufacturing & Supply Chain digital products, ensuring timely, high-quality releases that deliver measurable value.
- Ensure functional and delivery teams maintain a product mindset focused on outcomes (adoption, efficiency, ROI) rather than outputs (features or projects).
Operational Stability & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure the stability and reliability of digital operations across QAD, SAP S/4HANA, o9, Maximo, and MES platforms supporting Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Monitor product performance metrics (availability, data accuracy, process efficiency) and initiate improvement actions where needed.
- Partner with platform leads and operations teams to enhance system usability, reduce incidents, and enable faster issue resolution.
Launch & Adoption Management
- Lead regional go-live and adoption strategies, coordinating with IT, Operations, and Change Management to ensure readiness and smooth transition.
- Translate global product strategies into localized deployment plans, ensuring regional specifics and regulatory needs are met.
- Measure and report adoption, business impact, and user satisfaction post-launch to validate ROI and inform future releases.
Business Relationship Evolution
- Evolve the former business relationship team toward a strategic advisory role focused on insight, influence, and orchestration.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape the regional product portfolio—defining business cases, outcomes, and success metrics.
- Influence product roadmaps by providing structured business input and prioritization guidance from LATAM leaders.
- Act as the trusted advisor to both IT and business leadership on how digital products can create measurable value.
Communication, Training & Enablement
- Lead communication and enablement efforts for product launches and updates, ensuring clarity and excitement across stakeholder groups.
- Drive the creation of training content and change readiness materials to support end-user adoption and self-service capability.
- Collaborate with corporate communications to share success stories and reinforce the vision of digital transformation.
Portfolio, Risk & Change Management
- Maintain an integrated regional digital portfolio, consolidating run, enhancement, and delivery activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to launches, integrations, or organizational readiness, ensuring resilience in operations.
- Ensure smooth transitions between delivery and steady-state operations through structured handoffs and performance tracking.
Regional Leadership & Talent Development
- Represent LATAM IT in global product leadership forums, ensuring regional perspectives are incorporated in decision-making.
- Foster a culture of agility, accountability, and continuous improvement within LATAM IT teams and business partnerships.
- Mentor regional IT talent to strengthen product delivery capabilities and promote the shift from project to product thinking.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in product delivery, IT business partnering, or digital program leadership within manufacturing or supply chain.
- Experienced in managing multi-platform environments, aligning regional business needs with multi-regional deployments of global IT platforms such as QAD, SAP S/4HANA, o9 Planning, IBM Maximo, and MES.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership and driving measurable business outcomes through digital solutions.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and coordinate across global and regional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and hybrid frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and product operations (ProdOps) principles.
