Alpine Physician Partners has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement & Vendor Management Lead! In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing procurement strategies that ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. You will lead key initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, standardization, and optimization, ultimately building efficiencies in our workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

  • Lead key initiatives, with cross-functional team collaboration, that focus on process improvement, standardization, optimization and build efficiencies in our workflows

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to interpret forecasts and analyze data to plan purchasing needs for production.

  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts.

  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to maintain a robust and reliable supply chain.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing suppliers, implementing improvement plans when necessary.

  • Coordinate with internal commercial and operations teams to align procurement activities with company objectives.

  • Track market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.

  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement, with exposure to the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries being a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Proven experience in supplier and vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement for the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Familiarity with Workday, ERP systems, vendor portals, and procurement software.
