Procurement Supervisor

Function:   

Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional staff so that the organization has access to the goods and services it needs to operate with the required quality, at the best possible cost and when it is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Implement the Company Procurement Policy and procedures and assure complete compliance with it  . This includes training and supervision of delegated buyers on each Business Line. Folow KPIs, correct exceptions identified by Continous Audit or others, etc. Make sure KYC policy compliance for all vendors, etc.

2- Handling adquisition (directly of thrugh delegated buyers) of company required good and services, making sure policy and procedure are followed, best possible cost is achieved and all requiremnts are met.  Schedule and organize tender commitees and produce the proper documentation. Document preparation for bids for Service Stations, Terminals or any other projects

3- Implement specific actions to reach company targets as but not limited to:

  • Savings in Opex and Capex as :
    • Acquire and maintain an adecuaqte vendors database that provide goods and services with the required quality at the best possible cost and as fast as required.
    • Establish procedures and KPIs to identify major areas of improvement.
  • Complete projects on time:
    • Develop adequate communication procedures and channels to make sure internal requirements are made correctly and on time to get required good or services when needed.
    • Make sure Puchase orders are placed correctly and on time and requirements and spectations are always clear to the vendors . Close follow up on vendors to comply
  • Establish specific controls to make sure no expense is made without approval.

4- Comply with all local and external reporting requirements and deadlines.

Requirements:

Experience: 

  • University Degree in Supply Chain Manageent, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering Title or related career field.
  • Master degree in related area is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar field or 1 year in relevant role.
  • Preferred experience with taxation
  • Management system in place

Skills:   

  • Talent in negotiations and networking

  • Skilled MS Office programs
  • knowledge of the customs clearance and legal concepts
  • Knowledge of Internet search providers.
