Description -
The Strategic Procurement Buyer will be responsible for E2E for all business and operation aspects in front of the BIG CMs and collaborate with all relevant departments.
(Sourcing, Technical, Planning, R&D, ENG, Finance, Plant, Quality)
Work closely with suppliers to ensure that operation processes are efficient, cost-effective, and fully aligned with HP requirement
Supplier Management:
Full responsibility for maintaining relationships with suppliers
Wide supplier operation understanding including production process and Business understanding
Build long-term agreements with suppliers
Define and build cost reduction road map
Define and build Suppliers AOS & Business KPI’s
Activity management
Maintain the MRP system with all the relevant operation and business aspects
Collaborate with Suppliers POC, managers, and other stakeholders on routing meeting
Quarterly meeting with suppliers, SPR process, Maintain Supplier ID, Share with suppliers long-term plan
Collaborated with sourcing and technical team to Build Estimated cost, optimize supply chain process
work with suppliers on Cost-reduction activities based on agreed targets and opportunities
Identify supplier capacity and production flexibility, based on risk and define mitigation strategies
Education and Experience
B.A. in relevant field
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function
Experience working with big/medium contract manufacturers.
Global procurement experience- An advantage
Knowledge and Skills:
Negotiation & Commercial skills, BOM breakdown Knowledge
Analytical and strategic thinking
Team player & problem solver
MRP, Powerpoint Excel, and BI tools knowledge
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Excellent ability to work on parallel tasks
