We are seeking an experienced and strategic eAuctions Procurement Specialist to perform our sourcing and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end sourcing processes, conducting eAuctions, RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ), and overseeing contract negotiation and management. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to drive value, ensure compliance, and build lasting supplier relationships.

Your Opportunity

  • Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend procurement strategies for supplier selection between eAuctions and RFx

  • Design, implement, and manage eAuction events, including selecting appropriate auction formats, pre-qualifying suppliers, and leveraging advanced auction technology to drive competitive pricing, transparency, and process efficiency in sourcing activities

  • Manage, and execute sourcing processes, including eAuctions and RFx events, ensuring transparency and best-value selection

  • Supporting or leading contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors, securing favorable terms and mitigating risks

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support business continuity and drive successful project outcomes

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and new technologies to enhance procurement effectiveness

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

  • Support stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the sourcing and procurement process

Procurement Support Tasks

  • Close collaboration & communications with category managers, internal stakeholders & suppliers on operational procurement topics

  • Creating purchase requisitions, & monitoring all POs that are issued, received & closed

  • Handling of workflows for direct goods, creating/updating info records

  • Creation of framework orders in the system with responsible Category/Procurement Manager

  • Vendor registrations and maintenance (updating vendor master data) in the purchasing system

  • Supporting Account payable department for invoice discrepancies, goods delivery & closing PO’s

  • Vendor registrations and maintenance (updating vendor master data) in the purchasing system

  • Processing NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreements) according to business requirements in the system

Who you are

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field and 4+ years of proven experience in procurement management, with a strong focus on eAuctions, RFx processes, and contract negotiation

  • Champion and passionate on eAuctions

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, with focus on NA and EMEA regions

  • Proficiency in procurement tools, sourcing platforms (preferably GEP)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to ethical procurement practices

  • Preferably experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or similar
