How you’ll make an impact
Our procurement team has primary responsibility for management of sourcing and contracting activity at Cabrini Health. Through well-established processes, we enable staff to focus on their core roles within the organization by providing efficient access to the goods and services needed to perform their roles effectively. The Procurement Specialist supports end-to-end sourcing and improvement projects within the procurement team.
What you’ll be doing:
Engage with Business stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities and work plan
Engage with current and potential suppliers to understand the external environment, including technology trends and industry best practice
Support the optimisation of value to Cabrini by providing the commercial lens, and thereby building the business’ view of Procurement
Negotiate and source best-value goods and services for Cabrini, balancing cost, quality, functionality, sustainability, availability, and supplier management
Ensure timely storage and filing of project documentation and reporting of progress against deliverables
What we’re looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role (min 3 years)
CIPS accreditation (Desirable)
Strong health industry experience, covering end-to-end sourcing of clinical products, capital and services (Mandatory)
Experience in the contract establishment process, ensuring terms reflect favourable risk and commercial outcomes for the organisation
Demonstrable experience developing and sustaining relationships with key suppliers
Familiarity with the development of category plans and sourcing strategies
Ability to provide specialist procurement advice, guidance, and commercial support to operational and clinical stakeholders
Data analysis skills to facilitate performance tracking, measurement and reporting
