Procurement Specialist

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Procurement Specialist. This is an experienced individual contributor role responsible for independently managing the entire Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and coordinating vendor onboarding specifically for Aggreko's operations in India. The role provides essential administrative assistance to the Supply Chain's procurement function, ensuring all materials are acquired at the best possible rate, delivered on time, and meet the required quantity and quality standards.

What you’ll do:

  • P2P Cycle Management: Oversee the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for India, from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) conversion, expediting, invoice coordination, and ensuring timely deliveries.

  • Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management: Coordinate vendor onboarding with internal and external partners (e.g., WIPRO) and actively manage supplier relationships, addressing escalations, delivery delays, and performance issues.

  • Operational Coordination: Work closely with logistics, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipments, resolve procurement queries, and meet demand effectively.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Support: Provide support to the category management team in executing sourcing strategies, assisting with supplier identification, cost analysis, contract preparation, and negotiations.

  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and procurement performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.

  • Regional Market Insight: Contribute regional market insights and spend analysis to inform strategic procurement decisions.

You are:

  • P2P and Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated strong experience in managing the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and strategic sourcing activities.

  • Negotiation & Contract Proficiency: Proven ability in supplier negotiations and solid knowledge of contract management principles.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent skills in managing diverse internal and external stakeholders and effective communication.

  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to optimize procurement processes and costs.

  • ERP System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
