Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the Procurement Program Manager is responsible for providing project leadership to successfully deliver on Supply Chain corporate strategic initiatives. The Procurement Program Manager collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to support and oversee the project lifecycle from planning to closure, ensuring the project is delivered on time andwithin scope. The Procurement Program Manager acts as a critical liaison between the various teams and with stakeholders. The Procurement Program Manager also contributes to the ongoing improvement of the project delivery framework and processes.

In this role you will:
- Leading Supply Chain corporate strategic initiatives that directly impact NAV CANADA’s corporate objectives and leading the roll out and implementation of the associated program.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams comprised of supply chain resources, functional specialists, business subject-matter experts and external stakeholders
- Leading effective project delivery and risk mitigation, as well as compliance to policies, processes and standards
- Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive stakeholder engagement to ensure effective project delivery
- Contributing to the procurement and supplier management processes
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering medium to large projects and initiatives, preferably in a matrixed environment
- Experience coordinating and leading multiple, simultaneous project teams across multiple departments
- Experience in facilitation, negotiation and building collaborative relationships across various departments and stakeholders
- Experience in Procurement and Third Party Risk Management considered an asset
- Experience with managing business and strategic projects
- Experience in organizational change management
- Experience producing reports on project key performance indicators including project milestones, deliverables, people, financials, schedule, risks, and issues
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Project management industry best practices for the planning and delivery of waterfall and agile projects, including the SAFe Agile framework
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to deal with complex projects and initiatives
- Ability to deliver projects successfully within scope, schedule and cost parameters while obtaining targeted business objectives
- Ability to work as a team member and leader and to leverage capabilities of diverse groups of individuals to deliver results
- Ability to apply strong risk management and mitigation skills
- Ability to identify, analyze and communicate process improvements for quality, time, efficiency and cost gains

Working Conditions
- This position is a hybrid position with a minimum – 3 days per week on site.
