Procurement sits at the heart of the Operations & Remarketing division and plays a key strategic role in managing external spend, supporting supplier relationships and ensuring strong governance. We’re looking for a Procurement Operations Coordinator to provide a high-quality service to the business and support the smooth day to day running of the Procurement team.

You’ll act as the main point of contact for procurement queries, support workflow management across the team, and help ensure suppliers are onboarded and managed in line with policy. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining accurate data, reporting and documentation to support prioritisation, audit readiness and effective decision‑making.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows

  • Act as the first point of contact for Procurement, managing the team inbox, responding to queries and directing work appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date contract and supplier records, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding and terminations, ensuring all required policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain renewals and activity portfolios, supporting workflow prioritisation and stakeholder reporting.
  • Track and update workflow and prioritisation logs, coordinating inputs from category managers.
  • Produce team activity, demand and supplier reporting, including spend and performance data.
  • Support purchase order administration and spend control processes.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor procurement operating procedures to ensure consistent ways of working.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for procurement systems and support training for team members and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Risk team to embed appropriate controls into processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency and reducing manual effort.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Able to work at pace and meet agreed timescales.
  • Curious, proactive and keen to identify improvements.
  • Positive, adaptable and eager to learn and develop within procurement.
  • Experience within procurement, supplier management, operations or a regulated environment is highly advantages.
  • This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in procurement, operations or supplier management within a regulated environment.
