Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Contracts Agent Manager to join our Electrical Standards team in Everett, Washington.

The Procurement Contracts Agent Manager is responsible for leading contract administration and procurement support activities related to supplier agreements, purchasing terms, and compliance requirements. This role manages contract execution, negotiations support, supplier performance coordination, and internal stakeholder collaboration to ensure procurement activities align with company policies and business objectives.

Our team is currently hiring (Level K) Procurement Contracts Agent Manager.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally 10%
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Experience utilizing strategic decision making and supply chain metrics to drive business results
