Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking multiple experienced Supply Chain professionals (including Procurement Agents and Supply Chain Analysts) to join the Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Senior Procurement Analyst roles that will be in a lead role to design and shape BCA’s future SAP ERP system (SAP S/4Hana), retiring ERPLN. Each position in Auburn, Washington will be part of one of four supply chain related process teams: warehousing, transportation, supply/demand planning or production control. Each team is responsible for ensuring business requirements within their process area translate to system functionality and integration across supply chain systems.

We are looking for dynamic, curious and innovative individuals with strong supply chain knowledge and proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally. You will work within an Agile/SAP Activate methodology partnering closely with IT, Finance and Supply Chain organizations to drive design, testing, deployment and go-live of SAP S/4Hana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with IT, provide (depending on team) Warehousing, Transportation, Demand/Supply Planning or Production Control expertise to design and document end-to-end BCA processes in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Lead the gathering, documenting and validating business requirements from Supply Chain stakeholders
  • Ensure BCA Supply Chain processes are translated into requirements that support the business and ensure regulatory controls/compliance (SOD, authorizations, SOX)
  • Partner closely with IT to create test plans and support testing of requirements
  • Lead in the migration of ERPLN data to SAP S/4Hana by identifying data to be migrated and verifying data accuracy
  • Support go-live and post implementation activities, including development and delivery of end user training and documentation
  • Lead and participate in SAP S/4Hana solution design workshops
  • Lead development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, demand forecasting, planning, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP or ERPLN or other ERP warehousing, inventory, transportation, demand/supply planning or production control
  • 5+ years of experience with project management and leading teams.
  • 7+ Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with supply chain customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 7+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience performing research and analysis on processes, applications, systems, and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design.
  • 5+ years of experience working in digital product lifecycle management environments (development, deployment, modification and support).
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience supporting aerospace production shop floor supply chain operations, including material flow, inventory control, and production scheduling. Boeing experience or familiarity with Boeing’s supply chain and production processes is a plus.
  • 5+ Experience with SAP Production Control & Scheduling, Inventory & Warehouse Management, and/or Shipping & Transportation Management-related modules and tools; SAP S/4 PP/DS, or equivalent production planning and detailed scheduling related solutions.
  • 7+ Knowledge of MRP concepts, planning strategies, safety stock, ATP/CTP, lead-time profiling, planning heuristics, and demand-management processes.
  • 5+ Understanding of build-to-order, build-to-stock, kitting, sequencing, complex assemblies, and long lead item planning typical in aerospace programs.
  • 5+ Experience in ERP system implementations
     

Summary Pay Range: $118,000 - $160,000

Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process  (after preferred qualifications)

Shift:

This position is primarily on 1st shift but must have flexibility to work alternative shifts.
