The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking an Expert Procurement Agent, reporting to the Senior Manager in AM&S supporting PMI and Supply Chain Operations, working out of the Everett, WA office.
The Procurement Agent will join the PMI (Partnered Managed Inventory) and North America AM&S team to lead PMI process development and implementation and to drive key integration projects. This role will lead the development of the strategic direction and operational performance targets for PMI across all stakeholders, including global teams, and will drive successful deployment, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment.
The incumbent will develop, document, and ensure standard work across regional teams and create actionable plans to achieve and sustain the defined operational targets. In this role, the employee will act as resource and SME for all PMI related activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.
Consults on proposal analyses and implementation of long term strategies.
Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation process.
Prepares and executes negotiated documents.
Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Develops organization and company improvement plans.
Leads and facilitates teams to develop advanced technological ideas with multiple organizations and internal/external customers/suppliers.
Communicates supply chain information throughout the enterprise by integrating and aligning processes, procedures and practices with multiple organizations and domestic/international customers/suppliers to ensure cost effective materials management.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Fulfillment or Procurement practices & processes
5+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time internationally/domestically
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
PMI (Partner Managed Inventory) experience
10+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
Experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, organizational, analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills
