We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Technician to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring stable and efficient production processes. This role is responsible for setting up process equipment, monitoring performance, conducting test runs, and providing technical guidance to line operators. The Process Technician will collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve yield issues, and support the successful introduction of new products.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and verify process equipment from installation through release to production.
Perform process tests, collect and analyze data, and prepare records, charts, and reports for engineering review.
Monitor and audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and quality requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to line operators to ensure proper process execution.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting yield or process-related issues and implementing corrective actions.
Support production readiness by preparing process documentation and participating in operator training.
Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield, cycle time, and process efficiency.
Maintain accurate and organized process documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance.
Comply with safety rules, regulations, and procedures
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
Stop work and report unsafe conditions to supervisors
Report near misses and accidents immediately
Qualifications
High Vocational Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with process setup, monitoring, and production support.
Hands-on experience with semiconductor assembly processes (e.g., die attach, wire bond, optical alignment, packaging) preferred.
Strong skills in process monitoring, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work instructions, and process drawings.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
