Introduction to role
Join AstraZeneca as a Process Optimization Senior BPM Analyst and help shape how our enterprise operates! Reporting to the Process Optimisation Director, this role supports the end-to-end management and evolution of our BPM platform. It blends analytical strength with clear, impactful communication, enabling complex process insights to be translated into simple, actionable outcomes for stakeholders across the organisation.
In this role, you will help define and evolve our BPM strategy and framework in close collaboration with the Process Optimisation Director. You will manage and enhance BPM methodologies, modelling standards, governance and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across our process landscape. A key focus will be building and nurturing a strong BPM community: onboarding new users onto the platform, driving training and certification, and encouraging knowledge sharing. You will support and sometimes lead process mapping/modelling activities and process optimisation initiatives for strategic projects, using data and insight to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will engage directly with software providers and internal technology teams to refine tools, resolve issues and deliver enhancements. You will also explore how AI can streamline daily work activities and help embed these improvements into our ways of working. Operating in a global, virtual environment, you will work at pace across multiple initiatives, contributing to an agile, entrepreneurial culture that challenges the status quo and turns ideas into reality.
Solid understanding of process modelling techniques, tools, frameworks and standards
Strong experience in at least one BPM platform (e.g. BIC, Bizagi, Aris, Signavio etc.)
Ability to model and document end to end business processes using BPMN 2.0
Capable of acting as tool administrator and performing requirement gatherings and status analyses
Ability to communicate/articulate requests directly to software providers, alongside other internal technological teams
Analysing and designing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to seek daily work activities optimisation with AI utilization
Energetic and self-motivated
Strong time management skills with ability to work at pace, handling multiple initiatives at one time
Comfortable with working virtually in a global environment
Proficiency in English
Experience of working in Agile methodology
Experience of various related BPM capabilities such Process/Task Mining, Robotics Process Automation, Low Code automation, BPM, workflow tools.
Experience of working in Agile methodology
Six Sigma or Lean Management Green Belt certified
Experience in change management projects and process optimization initiatives
