Process Development Technician

Singapore - Tuas Full time

You will join the Process Development team in Singapore as a Process Development Technician. You will support lab and small-scale process work that helps products move safely toward commercial manufacturing. You will work closely with process scientists, production, quality and project teams. Responsibilities


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Run routine lab and small-scale process experiments under supervision following safety and quality standards.

  • Prepare samples, reagents, buffers and basic solutions, and maintain laboratory and pilot equipment.

  • Collect, record and organise experimental data clearly and accurately in lab notebooks and electronic systems.

  • Support process characterization, scale-up trials and technology transfer activities with production and MSAT colleagues.

  • Assist with basic sample analysis using common instruments and support troubleshooting or investigation tasks.

  • Help prepare clear technical summaries, batch records and simple reports for team reviews.

Basic Qualification


We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Diploma in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, life sciences or a related technical discipline.

  • At least 1 year of laboratory or process technician experience, or relevant internships or industrial attachments.

  • Practical skills with common lab tools and equipment (for example pipettes, balances, pH meters, basic chromatography or spectroscopy).

  • Good written and spoken English with clear communication and record-keeping skills.

  • Comfortable working on-site in Singapore and following safety and hygiene requirements.

  • Commitment to follow documentation, quality and regulatory standards in a manufacturing-support environment.

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Experience supporting process development, pilot trials or technology transfer in a regulated environment.

  • Familiarity with process equipment such as bioreactors, filtration systems, chromatography or cleanroom work.

  • Basic competency in data tools such as Excel and simple statistical analysis or data visualisation.

  • Knowledge of good laboratory practice, good documentation practice, or manufacturing quality expectations.

  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and a practical problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with global colleagues.
