Coperion Process Control Panel Assembler
Duties:
• Building and assembling of Process Control panels.
• Laying out back panels and enclosure for drilling, tapping and cutouts of components.
• Wiring, labeling and tagging of all wires, cables, and devices in Process Control panels.
• Operating engraving equipment to produce tags
• Operating computers and specialized printers to produce wire labels
• Identify components using electrical schematics and bills of material.
• Install conduit and complete wiring between control panels and equipment mounted instrumentation.
• Construction of crates for shipping electrical control cabinets and controls related equipment
Qualifications:
• Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word for printing wire labels and engraving tags
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Able to read, understand, and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
• Candidates that have experience and or education in the electric and controls field are preferred, but on the job training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability troubleshoot and ask questions when needed.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
