Over jou en deze functie

Als Procesoperator bij Dow werk je bij één van de marktleiders op het gebied van kunststoffen en chemicaliën. We verzekeren jou van een toffe werkomgeving en een gezellig team waar iedereen op elkaar kan rekenen. Je krijgt bij ons de ruimte om je kennis te verbreden en te ervaren hoe het is om als operator in ploegendienst te werken.

Bij Dow Delfzijl werk je in een fabriek waar met behulp van destillatie producten van elkaar worden gescheiden en verder verwerkt. Door een combinatie van binnen- en buitenwerkzaamheden leer je de fabriek tot in detail kennen. Je kunt daardoor verbanden tussen verschillende systemen leggen en hier verder in verdiepen. Samen met de ploeg voer je de diverse werkzaamheden uit, waarbij open communicatie en veiligheid voorop staan. Zo zorgen we samen dat onze producten van uitstekende kwaliteit blijven.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Respecteren van beleid en procedures: Volg het beleid om een veilige werking van de fabriek te garanderen en de productiedoelstellingen binnen de kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen te behalen.
• Bedienen en controleren van procesapparatuur: Je bewaakt het productieproces en grijpt in waar nodig. Monitor en bewaak de condities van de procesvoering en apparatuur, neem bij mogelijke verstoringen de juiste acties ten aanzien van veiligheid, milieu en kwaliteit, en gebruik moderne systemen om je werkzaamheden en verslaglegging optimaal uit te voeren.
• Technisch onderhoud en reparatie: Voer zelfstandig of in teamverband onderhoud uit, inclusief kleine reparaties en preventief onderhoud, met gebruik van de juiste vaardigheden en procedures.
• Procesverbetering: Gebruik je proceskennis en -vaardigheden om verbeteringen aan te brengen in de prestaties van de fabriek, met de focus op milieu en veiligheid.

Kwalificaties

• Een afgeronde mbo 4 opleiding richting procestechniek/ allround operationeel technicus (AOT) of een afgeronde mbo 3 opleiding + 3 jaar relevante werkervaring.

• Operationeel probleemoplossend vermogen: Voer geplande operationele taken uit en los ongeplande gebeurtenissen op.
• Teamspeler: Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s binnen en tussen ploegendiensten, deelt kennis en zorgt voor een soepele overdracht. Je kunt zelfstandig werken, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en durft beslissingen te nemen.
• Leergierig: Je bent bereid en gemotiveerd om jezelf uit te dagen en via een gestructureerd opleidingsprogramma onze fabriek te leren kennen, waarbij persoonlijke ontwikkeling een belangrijke schakel is.
• Flexibiliteit: Je werkt in een 5-ploegendienst en bent bereid om trainingen te volgen die van toepassing zijn om je uitdagende rol te kunnen uitvoeren.
