If you are a technical accounting expert who thrives on variety and execution in a technology-centric environment, we want to hear from you.

As a key leader within Sabre’s Accounting team, you will navigate a dynamic landscape of complex transactions and evolving regulatory standards. This isn't just about "doing the books"—it's about staying on the cutting edge of US GAAP, providing strategic transaction advisory, and delivering best-in-class technical analysis. You have a passion for technical accounting and, more importantly, an ability to translate that passion into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Advisory: Conduct and document insightful research of non-routine accounting transactions to conclude on the appropriate application of US GAAP beyond auditor reproach.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide technical support for high-impact areas including contracts with customers (ASC 606), debt, M&A, divestitures (including transition services), derivatives, capitalized software, leases, and contingencies.

  • AI & Innovation: Leverage the Company’s suite of AI-driven tools and automation platforms to streamline research workflows, enhance reporting throughput, and optimize the team’s overall productivity.

  • Global Guidance: Provide technical guidance to international locations, interpreting US GAAP within the context of IFRS and other local GAAP differences.

  • External Audit Liaison: Support the external auditor’s testing procedures for complex transactions and related internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).

  • Regulatory Monitoring: Actively monitor FASB, SEC, and PCAOB activities to identify potential impacts and lead the implementation of new accounting standards across the global organization.

  • SEC Reporting Support: Assist in drafting critical footnotes and disclosures for quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings, specifically regarding debt, fair value, and intangibles.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to Treasury, Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and Senior Management.
