We are seeking an innovative and talented Principal Systems Engineer with strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of identifying and problem solving to join our Systems Evaluation team. The candidate must have the ability to be a technically minded problem-solver, be able to focus on the task at hand. Location: Aurora, Colorado

What You Will Do

• Perform analysis and validation of systems performance.
• Develop new test plans based on test data analysis and customer needs.
• Brief customer and senior management on results as required
• Act as subject matter expert to technical working group
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex mission system performance issues

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience in LINUX operating systems executing test scripts and managing test environments.
• Experience in problem-solving and proactively identify potential issues, perform comprehensive analysis, and implement effective resolutions with minimal supervision.
• Experience building and sustaining working relationships with customers and cross-functional organizations.
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Scripting experience in MATLAB, Perl, SQL, UNIX
• Experience with mission customer systems

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
