Description

Your Role:

The Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the disposal of KC-30A assets. The role will also hold the responsibility of a Disposal Manager. You will also have accountability for:

  • Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure CMCA conforms to regulatory requirements.
  • Undertaking the role of Disposal Manager in accordance with department of Defence Disposals Handbook
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure the timely receipt and issue of
    CMCA.
  • Identifying process efficiencies and potential impacts to supportability of Authorised to Fit Products.
  • Supporting disposals management by reporting on known issues and their status.
  • Supporting quality assurance occurrences reporting on physical location and condition
  • Supporting the warehousing in general warehousing duties when time and capacity is available.

About You:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1
  • Spares Inventory Management, Logistics management or similar qualification or experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the inspection and receipt of
    Aeronautical Product (AP) within the Defence environment desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the disposal of Commonwealth owned assets desirable
  • Strong team player, with ability to work as part of a larger group or independently.
    Demonstrated ability to self-manage.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
