The Role
The Principal, Revenue Operations Business Partner (RevOps BP) is the senior RevOps leader embedded within an assigned Market or organization at CCC. The role drives operating rigor and revenue outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success through a consistent cadence of forecasting, pipeline management, deal governance, and performance insights.
By embedding a dedicated Business Partner, CCC increases predictability and scale: earlier visibility to pipeline and deal risk, tighter governance and execution discipline, and a repeatable way of operating that frees leaders to make faster decisions, prioritize effectively, and coach to performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead RevOps for an assigned Market; run the weekly/monthly operating cadence (forecast, pipeline reviews, deal inspection, performance readouts).
- Improve forecast accuracy and pipeline quality in partnership with Sales leadership.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to translate strategy into operating plans and execution.
- Deliver data-driven insights to inform prioritization, investment decisions, and growth strategy.
- Own deal governance and inspection to ensure deal quality, approval rigor, and CRM accuracy.
- Monitor pipeline creation, conversion, and performance diagnostics; surface risks and opportunities early.
- Ensure CRM hygiene, data integrity, and reporting standards through hands-on Salesforce and RevTech stewardship.
- Coordinate with RevOps Analytics, Systems, and Deal Desk to improve workflows, tooling, and reporting.
- Standardize processes and operating models to enable scale and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of new tools, AI-enabled workflows, and evolving go-to-market models as CCC scales.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, or related roles in B2B SaaS or complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior commercial leaders and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end revenue operations: forecasting, pipeline management, deal execution, and performance measurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable operating in metric-driven environments.
- Advanced Salesforce CRM and reporting proficiency and strong command of revenue analytics/reporting tools.
- Clear, executive-level communication skills; effective collaborator across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
- Strategic and execution-oriented; able to move seamlessly between planning and hands-on delivery.
- Continuous learner with curiosity around AI, automation, and evolving go-to-market (GTM) and RevOps best practices.
Core Competencies
- Analytical problem solving: Diagnose performance issues quickly and turn data into practical actions.
- Executive communication and influence: Align cross-functional leaders and drive clear decisions in a matrixed environment.
- RevTech fluency: Advanced Salesforce proficiency; strong command of reporting/analytics and comfort ramping on new tools.
- Program leadership: Manage multiple workstreams, maintain momentum, and deliver with operational discipline.
- Commercial acumen: Understand the end-to-end revenue motion (forecasting, pipeline, white space, deal execution) including Lead-to-Cash (L2C) and CPQ fundamentals.
- Strategic agility: Balance long-term planning with fast, high-quality execution amid shifting priorities.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Stay current on AI/agentic capabilities, emerging technologies, and evolving go-to-market models, expert knowledge of Salesforce CRM and reporting.
