As a Principal Product Support Engineer, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You'll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. You're technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of training programs in accordance with TRADOC Regulation 350-70, AR 350-1 Chapter 7, Section 7-6, and MIL-PRF-29612 (paragraphs 3.2.7, 4.3.7, and 4.3.9).
- Develop, update, and manage Pilot, Airborne Sensor Operator, and Maintainer Training Support Package (TSP) to include training manuals, training syllabus, slide presentations, Program of Instruction (POI), lesson plans, classroom instruction, evaluation plans, examinations, and other courseware IAW DI-PSSS-81523.
- Conduct comprehensive training needs analysis (TNA) to determine the gaps between the current skills, knowledge, and abilities of employees and the desired competencies needed to achieve organizational objectives. By identifying these gaps, organizations can develop targeted training programs that address specific needs and improve overall performance.
- Create and implement training program plans to outlines the strategy, objectives, methods, resources, and timeline for delivering a specific training program.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Stay current with TRADOC policies, Army modernization training initiatives, and best practices in military training development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior training developers and instructional staff.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 14 or more years of related experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military training development, with a focus on U.S. Army TRADOC Regulation 350-70, AR 350-1, and MIL-PRF-29612 or other related standards.
- Experience in use of ADDIE or PADDIE Model of Instructional Design and In-depth knowledge of Army learning policies, systems, and training methodologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing military training programs.
- Experience with supporting/addressing customer training objectives.
- Must possess strong verbal and technical written communication skills.
- Must be able to coordinate collaboratively across traditional engineering disciplines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Background in technical training, programs, communications, or other operations function.
- Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms and training software.
- Prior military experience or familiarity with military structures and operations is highly desirable.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $130,442.85 - $179,358.93. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
