Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Principal, Strategic Business Development & Partnerships will be responsible for the management of our strategic business partnerships and the development of new profitable partnerships that leverage Availity solutions and platforms. You will have a track record in strategizing, completing, and executing large, complex, relationships. In addition to the development of new product partnerships, the success of the relationships, this role will maintain and manage positive relationships with our partners to develop and maintain new horizons for strategic growth.

To be qualified for this position you:
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of product/account/customer relationship management, business development experience in a healthcare environment. (Healthcare IT, Provider, or Payer) with an emphasis on technology utilization.
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Passion for driving growth and innovation within the organization.
- Must have the ability to develop and synthesize the value proposition and ROI.
- Confidence in developing relationships and having strategic influence to bring internal stakeholders along.

You will be:
- Evaluating and managing new, strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, and alliances.
- Managing the entire end-to-end partnership process, from lead generation to pipeline management through deal execution and implementation consultation.
- Investigating new relationships, prepare perspectives, and brief executives and leaderships on potential relationships.
- Maintaining up-to-date information on industry trends and the competitive landscapes as thought leader and consultant, acting as subject matter expert.
- Overseeing the identification and pursuit of some or all the following: strategic business opportunities, joint ventures, and licensing agreements or evaluation/management of investments in company ventures or entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Working cross functionally with the Executive Team, product, technology, and growth leadership as we execute on existing or new relationships.
- Maintaining communication of critical issues, escalate as appropriate, and manage partnership communications.
- Identifying, cultivating, and maintaining a strong network of relationships across the healthcare ecosystem, particularly with Healthcare IT vendors.
- Establishing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with all customers and stakeholders across functions, from day-to-day procurement to C-suite.
