ABOUT THE ROLE

The Invoicing team is on a mission to end the effort of invoicing and getting paid for micro and small & medium businesses (mSME). Instead of having to take time to manually create & manage invoices, track and reconcile payments, and ensure these are done correctly for bookkeeping and accounting, we automate and simplify these things so that mSMEs can focus on what really matters for their businesses (e.g. finding customers, delivering great products & services). This area is at an exciting point in our journey as we have a product in market, and we are significantly increasing its reach and impact via investments in product development, product-led growth and internationalisation.

As Principal Product Manager you will;

  • Make high-quality decisions about product strategy & execution, translating strategy into impact-driven roadmaps
  • Own and drive commercial outcomes for the product; set goals, deliver KPIs, and maintain internal/external relationships
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team and stakeholders to set priorities, create a roadmap, and ship products with high velocity that deliver value to our Members
  • Build alignment on priorities, plans and progress in your team, across other product teams, with stakeholders and the Leadership team
  • Inspire and influence others and yourself to think differently, solve problems, seize opportunities and be passionate about working towards the mission

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an exceptional Head or Product to join our product team that is building a world class expense management experience that will truly benefit micro, small & medium businesses around the world.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of at least 8 years in product management
  • Domain knowledge preferably in fintech / accounts payable & receivable / payments / accounting & tax / financial services / or some other related field. We value aptitude over experience, but we’re looking for some existing real world PM experience.
  • Commercially-minded, strategic & analytical approach with the ability to effectively make business impact via product strategy. Will also bring a hands-on approach, be close to the details and execution, understanding how to strike a balance.
  • Experience leading and seamlessly collaborating in cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches, continuous improvements, and growth.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in relation to decision-making, plans, progress, achievements and challenges.
