A bit about your role

The Principal Network Security Strategic GRC role leads Line 1 cyber security governance, risk, and compliance activities, ensuring alignment with TSRMP and SOCI obligations across the Active Network function. As a senior subject matter expert, the role provides strategic guidance, maintains operational discipline, uplifts documentation and reporting maturity, and oversees the full lifecycle of compliance audits while escalating material risks to senior leadership.

The role works closely with stakeholders across legal, procurement, engineering, security groups, suppliers, and delivery teams to maintain alignment on security objectives, ensure effective risk escalation, and deliver transparent compliance reporting. It also drives capability uplift by mentoring Network Security professionals and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence to support ongoing regulatory and operational requirements

A bit about you

We are seeking an experienced cyber security professional with expertise in governance, risk, and compliance across largescale or highly regulated environments. You will bring proven capability in delivering complex GRC initiatives, driving transformation programs, enhancing frameworks and controls, and providing clear, informed advice to senior leaders. Your background should reflect strong analytical skills, broad exposure to technology and security domains, and the ability to translate organisational direction into practical governance and compliance outcomes.

This role requires advanced proficiency in risk management, compliance, security assurance, and technology delivery lifecycles. You will excel at engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders, articulating complex concepts with clarity, and navigating issues within structured operating models. Strong commercial acumen, disciplined planning, and leadership presence are essential, as is a track record of coordinating multiple priorities and delivering strategically aligned outcomes. If you thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about driving continuous improvement in cyber security governance, we want to hear from you
