  • Architect and implement secure mobile payment solutions using NFC and EMV Co Standards.

  • Drive the long-term mobile platform vision for both iOS and Android. Establish and evolve the core mobile architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards for both platforms. Ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability by setting precedents for dependency injection, module management, and reactive programming across Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).

  • Lead high-level architectural and code reviews for key features and platform components across multiple mobile teams. Define and enforce a high bar for engineering quality, performance, and reliability through mentorship and process improvements.

  • Use a deep understanding of mobile systems and strategic goals to resolve architectural disagreements and align teams in a single, coherent direction. Act as a neutral technical voice to facilitate decisions on shared libraries, build systems, or cross-platform code.

  • Lead the research and prototyping of complex mobile solutions, such as new SDK integrations, or performance optimizations, validating their technical feasibility and alignment with the overall product roadmap.

  • Act as the mobile expert in product and design discussions, providing a technical perspective on tradeoffs and risks. Influence product teams to prioritize platform health, accessibility (for both iOS and Android), and technical debt reduction alongside new feature work.

  • Guide the technical planning and execution for major mobile-specific initiatives, such as a full app redesign, a modularization effort, or a large-scale performance overhaul. Directly influence the roadmaps of multiple mobile teams to ensure they are building toward a cohesive architectural vision.
