Founding Frontend Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of our frontend architecture, leading the development of new user-facing features for our core web application using React.
• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for frontend to ensure smooth, automated, and reliable testing and deployment.
• Set the standard for frontend quality: implement rigorous testing practices (unit, integration, E2E) and enforce strong code review processes to deliver a flawless user experience.
• Develop and maintain products for both external users and internal teams (dashboards, admin panels, internal tools).
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design, define, and integrate APIs; occasionally contribute to backend application logic when needed.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues across all frontend platforms.
• Work closely with designers and product teams, contributing strong design intuition and ensuring high-quality, polished UI/UX execution across web and mobile.
• In the near future, spearhead the entire lifecycle of our new mobile applications, from initial setup to deployment on both iOS and Android using React Native.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering.
• Deep expertise in React and its ecosystem.
• Demonstrable experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications (we use GitHub Actions).
• Strong familiarity with AWS services relevant to frontend development.
• Strong design sense and experience collaborating with designers/UX teams to deliver visually polished and intuitive interfaces.
• A “0-to-1” and founding-team mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, takes extreme ownership, and thrives when building foundational systems.
• Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves:

• Proven, hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining mobile applications from scratch for both iOS and Android using React Native.
